What Will World War 3 Be Like?

WW3 is often portrayed with nukes and other Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs.) However, with the political situation now, that is very unlikely.

The main reason right now would be a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. In 1945, nationalists fled from China to a small island known as Taiwan. Since then, China has been prepared to invade Taiwan any moment. In order for the invasion to go well, China would need to destroy US bases and Aircraft Carriers in the Pacific before launching their invasion. If it fails to do that, the Peoples Liberation Army will die in Taiwan.

Lets say Russia escalates it's invasion of Ukraine, and Eastern Europe finds itself fighting Russia. If this were to happen, NATO would probably intervene at some point.

A failing economy in the US, China, Europe, and Russia could possibly lead to mass protests or possibly civil war. Then the nations would find themselves fighting other countries, as well as fighting their own people.

Russia invading Ukraine has already caused economic problems in other countries. Imagine that but in Asia and most of Europe. Countries only fight wars whet it is strong on the home front, but right now the US, China, and many European countries do not have that.

Russias economy is suffering from boycotts by other nations, and a lot of Russians are fleeing to nearby nations. If WW3 begins, no one will be safe, and all sides will have devastating losses no matter the outcome.

However, I am not saying Nuclear War isn't possible. The nukes exist, and are ready to be launched at any time. However, a major war will most likely lead to economic and social collapse, not a nuclear fallout.
