Jerry Lawson was a black man that created the first video game cartridge/card. A lot of consoles today, like the Nintendo DS and Switch. The Google Doodle about him allows you to make games in different styles, like Mario Maker. It's pretty fun, and I even made two games myself, the second of which no one has beaten yet:
