We will talk about the saber-tooth tiger, also known as Smilodon. You may know them as your modern-day cats like lions, kittens, tigers, and more. "Saber-toothed cats existed from the Eocene through the Pleistocene Epoch." Saber-tooth tigers started to roam the lands around 37 million years ago. Saber-tooth tigers were the most feared predators in the ice age.
Now you got an idea what they are. Now we will be talking about what did they eat and how they survived. Saber-tooth tigers were carnivores, so that meant they ate meat. Saber-tooth tigers ate prehistoric animals such as prehistoric deer, bison, and young woolly mammoths. Saber-tooth tigers most likely lived in closed habitats such as forests and bush, which would have covered them to ambush their prey. Saber-tooth tigers survived like they could walk like a criminal and just take everything. The Saber-tooth tigers lived around for 20 to 40 years.
Now the last thing we will talk about is, what if the Saber-tooth tiger didn't go extinct? First where the humans would live the saber-tooth tiger would first fight them but lose. Then they would probably travel to places to find different animals to feast on. A few examples would be elephants, deer, fish, and a few more. If they can't travel they would most likely eat humans.
